The following options are the most popular for weddings but it's your day so you can adjust these packages to suit your tastes and needs.
Choose from our 2 Wedding Piper packages:
Package 1 'Just the Ceremony':
- The piper can play to welcome your guests to the ceremony, usually 15 -20 minutes before you arrive
- Play for the bridal entrance, your big moment, so make it majestic!
- For the signing of the register and while your photographer takes happy snaps
- Pipe the newly wedded couple out of the venue, a regal farewell
With a little time for photographs that will usually take about an hour.
From £135 for a local piper.
Package 2 'The Whole Day':
- This package INCLUDES all the above, PLUS the following;
- The piper could welcome the bride and groom and your guests to the champagne reception or venue
- Be available to be photographed with any of your guests who wish it
- Play in the background during the drinks reception or while you are having photographs taken
- Be available to highlight events such as announcing the meal
- Pipe the bride and groom to the top table
This option, which is often about three hours, echoes times past when the laird or chieftain would call upon his personal piper to underscore the special day with his unique dignity, style and drama. A fabulous addition to any wedding.
